Most people tell me they don’t know what to do with their hands, or that they never look good in photos. We start slow, with a few test shots, and by the time we get going you stop thinking about the camera entirely.
My job is to notice the moments in between the posed ones — the laugh after a bad joke, the way you look at someone you love. That is where the real photographs live.
